Andrea has been a practicing doula for over 8 years and is very passionate about helping families. She creates a calm atmosphere and helps families manage in their daily lives. She loves the variety that birth support offers and how unique each person's preferences are. Her specialties include helping families prenatally, in labour, postpartum, and with infant sleep and feeding.
After supporting some very strong birthing people Andrea noticed a gap in the birthing room. Between the doctors, midwives, or nurses there was a need for continuous support for the birthing family. Her sister introduced her to the work of a doula and she have been working to fill that gap for nearly a decade to help round out the birth experience. This has grown to helping families adjust to the early period after birth with a baby as well. Andrea loves being a part of everyone's village!
When Andrea is not busy being a doula she enjoys playing with her daughter’s and husband. She loves swimming, spending time outdoors, reading, and watching movies!
